Bill Gates LIVE in Delhi

Bill Gates is in India to receive the prestigious Indira Gandhi Prize for Peace, Disarmament and Development on behalf of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for its pioneering and exemplary work around the world and in India. He’ll also inaugurate the 5th year anniversary celebrations of the Microsoft Research India.

He’ll attend a symposium on Research and Innovation – The Keys to India’s Future on Friday, 24 July in Delhi, where Shri Kapil Sibal, Minister of Human Resource Development would be the chief guest. Post the keynote addresses, BillG would participate in a panel discussion at the event with Shri Prithviraj Chavan, Minister of State for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Govt. of India, Mr. N.R. Narayana Murthy, Chairman and Chief Mentor, Infosys Technologies, Professor Ashok Jhunjhunwala, IIT Madras, and Dr. P. Anandan, Managing Director of Microsoft Research India.

He will also speak at a CEO forum hosted by NASSCOM and will make an announcement for the Gates Foundation with the Indian Ministry of Health.
